About fix my ping — How We Test Gaming Ping Boosters

About fix my ping

Who We Are

fix my ping is built by Jay and a team of competitive gamers who got tired of dying to lag. We play Valorant, CS2, Apex, Fortnite, Tarkov, and WoW —and we've tested every major ping booster on the market across multiple ISPs in Australia and Asia-Pacific. We are not owned by any gaming company, VPN provider, or ping booster service.

How We Test

Every ping booster is evaluated across five dimensions:

  1. Ping Reduction (35%) —measured latency drop across 6 games × 3 ISPs, averaged over 10 test runs each
  2. Stability (25%) —jitter, packet loss, and consistency over 1-hour gaming sessions
  3. Game Compatibility (20%) —number of supported games, automatic routing, per-game profiles
  4. Price (15%) —monthly cost, free trial availability, money-back guarantee
  5. UX & Support (5%) —setup ease, UI quality, customer support responsiveness

Data Sources

All ping data is collected in-house using our own test rig: Windows 11, wired Ethernet, tested across 3 Australian ISPs (Telstra, Optus, TPG). We measure latency to game servers in Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Frankfurt. Tests are run weekly. We also incorporate user reports and community feedback from Reddit, Discord, and game forums.

How We Make Money

fix my ping is free to use. When you subscribe to a booster through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect our rankings. We test every product independently and never accept payment for placement. Our recommendations are based solely on the evaluation criteria above.
