What causes high ping in games?

A route result needs context.

We treat a lower ping number as a starting point, not a verdict. A useful result records the connection, route and conditions that produced it.

What a route tool cannot fix

It cannot repair Wi-Fi interference, an overloaded game server, local CPU limits or a bad router setup. We call out those limits before recommending a tool.
